There is a new variant of Corona virus called Covid-19. This time it beats every Corona virus that already exist, e.g. Influenza, Ebola, Sara and Mers combined in fame. Everyone in all countries panicked. In Indonesia, panic buying made mask and hand sanitizer gone. Some food ingredients gone or have skyrocketed price. Now on every building in Jakarta, the security also check the body temperature of each person that goes in. People also used mask everywhere. Which according to Singapore's spokeperson not necessary. You put mask if you are sick. The sad thing is, people started prejudice against Chinese person. This is because the epidemic was discovered from Wuhan, China. Blah! When SARS showed up, people just chill. I mean, at the time, many chicken farmers burned their chicken. It was more impactful and more dangerous than Covid-19, but we chilled. Why aren't we now? From the statistics, Covid-19 would probably killed most whom at the age of 50 or more. And ...

This is a picture of Cikampek highway on Tuesday. The picture taken from elevated road that leads to Kalimalang road. The part flooded with water is entry point to enter the highway. It usually never flood. This year, however, we have several flood incidents. Which is weird! We usually have 5 years cycle of great flood. Once every 5 years there would be a big flood. What makes this year special is we got great flood more than once. Usually, we got a big flood once and that's it. Now, however, every heavy rain guarantee flood will happen. The biggest hit were on Bekasi, Jakarta's neighbor. My friend got his car flooded up to the roof. His neighbors also got the same. They were unprepared.  Their area never have flood before. Believe it or not, we are more desensitized by the Internet. We can now laugh at dark jokes. Jokes that would be inappropriate in real life. We can now laugh at these bad days. However, can this made us psychopathic? Thank God, we still disconnect from Internet. We still feel that Internet is a simulacrum. We can differentiate which is in the Net and which on the real life. We can joke about it anonymously on the Internet while behave on the real life. We still have generations of people that older and have traditional value over these wacky Internet culture. At least, we would be warned if we leak some of the Internet culture. But, what about the generation after us? The one that grew up with the Internet? As a Pentecost, I get a lot of critics from many preachers about how we sing our songs. These people, usually Lutheran people, criticising us for using contemporary band in our place of worship. They said, our worship is not legit. It is only for entertainment only, not worship. For background, in Christian Contemporary Music (CCM) music, we usually have bands and one singer as a Worship Leader. This singer have the most voice out of all. Plus, the lights, the environment and the big projector making the church looks like a concert. What's wrong with the concert look? What's so sacred about a liturgy? It isn't in the Bible. Jokowi already made new team to lead Indonesia. So many surprise. Lol. The big surprise is Wiranto no longer in the Coordinator of Politics, Law and Human Right Ministry. After his stunt of getting stab and exagerated the story, nothing happened. I'm not against him or anything, but I hate many sources tell different stories about that. Like many, I'm doubting that incident as staged. Meh... I don't dwell too much into that. I think the new law about KPK (an adhoc departement specialize to combat corruption) is what we need to get attention. The revision of KUHP (a Napolean law that still used in Indonesia since Dutch-Hindi age) that contains so many flaw and rubber. I don't like that Yasonna being a Law and Human Rights minister again. This site is not dead yet. But, I'm more hesitant to talk and publish the entries. Indonesia is more sensitive than before. I see sometimes gives "you-know-who" info that obfuscated to the public. I don't want to start a polemic. Jokowi was elected as a president without any back up from any senior parties. He is like a startup company disrupting status quo. This also comes with a price, he have a weak leg in Indonesian politics. Sadly, because of that, he comes to the Generals. Thus, you see names of former-military heads on his cabinets. More over, his former-military ministries had red mark some Human Right issues list. Hmm... may be. I'll just write spiritual messages? Lol.
