I really like this version more than the original. The producer patched the music making it more wholly produced. I also like how it was designed more towards K-Pop.
What I don't like about the original was the vocal. Kiara has the voice like Kylie Minogue. But, the original sound made the sound distribution uneven. P-san made voice register in the mid-to-high frequency. With the original song towards that sound, I felt like Kiara's voice like nagging.
Thankfully, P-san panning the sound more, spreading the sound left and right, making it a full ambience. Kiara now sound more like a musical instrument. My ears can accept her vocal.
I am the proponent of vocal diversity. I love world music. Sonically, I think Kiara has that unique tone and as a producer, it comes with the challenge how to compose good music using that unique vocal. In the Korean version, P-san really brings out the vocal more.
I wish they could add more layers. But, this is okay because I really do like Do U. However, the OG doesn't have a good job at mixing the music.
